Are you interested in the Life Story Board?
As the ‘home on the web’ for the community of Life Story Board users, I will upload information and examples of its use in various applications. The Life Story Board kit comes with trays, bins, and palettes to organize the sets of Element Cards according to your use setting and approach (see photo).
The LSB is a versatile tool and process, for which most people who adopt its use first attend an introductory workshop for hands on experience. Typically, workshops are now held in Winnipeg. There are opportunities for clinical supervision by qualified social workers and therapists using LSB. They participate in the online LSB Practice Group held monthly
Enquiries are welcome from individuals, groups or organizations from a distance, We can arrange a Zoom meeting, so I can I can learn about your use setting and application ideas. I use a second overhead webcam to show the LSB set up for a demonstration. Purchase orders are customized and can be arranged for groups,
The cost of a new LSB Kit is typically $400 CAD (plus GST/PST, as applicable; shipping in Canada is approx. $30 CAD. In a new kit, palettes not set up; comes with round and square labels sets for Round and Square Markers
Locally, demonstration LSB kits are available for loan, by arrangement
Re-furbished LSB toolkits used in workshops ($350 CAD value) are available for trial up to three months, or rental @$30/mo. There is $100 CAD refund for return of LSB kit in serviceable condition.

- 1 Life Story Board play board, tri-fold, laminated paper steel (magnet receptive, writeable with dry erase, non-permanent markers) (an extra board: $50)
- 4 magnetic Palettes to display Markers Sets, with wooden stand
- Sets of magnetic Element Card Sets: for Persons, Interactions, Feelings, Roles, Thought Clouds, Activities, Signposts, Places, etc
- printed label sheets for 3/4” round and 1″x1″ square Marker Sets
- Handbook with Manual and Guide Sheets
- 5 small bins and 2 large bins and long plastic case for the Element Card sets
